Escaping Neverland will also be used for fundraising in preparation of opening a long-term, wraparound, trauma informed care nonprofit rehabilitation sanctuary to treat chronically homeless individuals. known as Lost Boys: Found. We will focus on treating substance use disorder, providing mental health support via Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), vocational training and encourage the pursuing of higher education. Lost Boys: Found will be the first of its kind in treating a psychological condition to be known as Oustitutionalization (a concept drawn from my own lived experience) which is the conditioning and dependance on certain aspects of the homeless lifestyle which are enjoyable and familiar (i.e. constant adrenaline, freedom of lifestyle, lack of financial/societal pressures, alternative dwelling/lifestyles, chosen family connections, etc.) ultimately driving the newly sheltered, chronically unhoused back to their more familiar way of life. In other words, this organization could be part of a game-changing solution to widespread harmlessness. The site aims to engage the community and support individuals in their transition to society by emphasizing rent-free preparation and personal development. Homelessness is metaphorically described as “downtown neverland,” reflecting my personal perspective of my own experience while unhoused.

Doin' BIG things!

Look at me!
