To celebrate the end of summer, my friends and I planned a camping trip to McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park. I was a little hesitant at first because of the long five-hour drive but when I saw the photos of the waterfall, I knew I couldn’t miss out. California has been in a drought for some time now and it was so refreshing to see all water flowing down freely along the creek.
Luckily, the weather was great when we were camping. It was sunny and warm but became instantly cooler by the time we reached the base of the waterfall.
