Spring Eurotrip | Borough Market in London

Borough Market_Main

Need I say more? We set ourselves on a mission to go to the Borough Market for lunch and I regret nothing about the experience. It’s a delightful bazaar for all you foodies out there, you can find everything from wine bars to freshly prepared paellas, bison burgers to pulled pork sandwiches (and you can actually see the whole roasted pig!) and freshly pressed juice to amazing cocktails.

Our game plan was to explore around the open market first to sample some goodies and get an idea of what we’d like to have for lunch. I decided to have a cup of happiness (prosecco, mint, lemonade and peach liqueur), seafood paella and an ice-cream cone for lunch and only wished I had more room in my stomach to try more.

I would go back to this market in a heart-beat; not only can you find food items that are ready to eat, you can do some of your grocery shopping there as they have stands with fresh produce, seafood, meats and spices! I bought some truffle salumi (vacuum sealed for traveling) as a gift for my brother and slightly regret not buying other delicious flavors.
