Mariciel and I spent our Sunday afternoon as local tourists, checking out Fort Point, Legion of Honor and the labyrinth at Land’s End. One of the many things I love about living in San Francisco is the proximity of so many beautiful sites, both natural and manmade. The scenery just never gets old and revisiting some of my favorite spots around town is always a time well-spent.
Learning about Fort Point made me appreciate the rich history behind the city and to see the Golden Gate Bridge from a different angle gave me a whole new sense of admiration for the structural beauty. The intricate design of the support system under the bridge not only serves a practical reason but also as a great photo op :)
I loved being able to spend a day combining all of my favorite hobbies: photography, exploring and learning, I think I need more days like this!
